What's the point of the fold without the s Pen? It being larger even makes less sense. The fold series is basically a phone that doubles as an iPad mini with full productivity features. The larger screen doesn't have any utility beyond that.

I have been a lifelong Windows user, and I just bought a raspberry pi to start messing around with Linux. I also recently bought a NAS to move as much of my data from MS and Google clouds as possible. I am really tired of this stuff, and completely agree that even if Microsoft includes an on / off option, they will abuse that to the best of their ability.

The separation of the two cameras on the android device is huge.. It will have far far better spacial depth recording than an iPhone or my Lume Pad 2. I can understand if you want to make a 3d camera with a processor to do realtime depth maps for games then Android would be a good option. No point in reinventing the wheel. My Lume Pad 2 uses onboard AI to realtime convert everything on youtube, face book etc and any video or picture I load onto it into amazing glasses free eye tracked 12.9" lovliness.

Motorola needs better software support and they will be fine in this game until then its a waste to even bye from them.

Samsung Really messed up by changing the form factor of their watch. The Samsung watch 6 classic is beutiful! they really kocked it out of the park with that one. I have one and have gotten multiple compliments on how it looks. ive owned 4 Different smart watches before that one and never gotten a compliment on their looks. they should have stuck to that form factor instead of trying to battle apple. speciallly since nowadays people are getting tired of the apple watch form and its starting to be seem as lame now that everybody has one.

I'm currently typing this on a Panasonic Toughbook (CF-31, not 40) that I got at a surplus sale for $10. It's definitely sturdy enough that it'll probably become uselessly obselete long before it breaks.

I'm completely leaving Samsung. Samsung has lost its vision and leadership and is following Apple too much. If I wanted a product that looks like Apple, I would just purchase Apple. It's bad enough that the phones don't come with a fast charging adapter. They don't listen to their customers at all because they're too busy following Apple. I traded in my Samsung S23 Ultra for the OnePlus Open, and it has made having a foldable fun again. And I'm trading my flip for the new Motorola flip with a bigger outer screen. Since Samsung want bring Dex to their flip. Bye-bye 👋 Samsung.
